Its a new year...2008

Wow...so here I am right on schedule and keeping to my new years resolution! So a review of this year (I got so much back posting to do in terms of posts and photos its scary)...

Highlights were me visiting Taiwan in Feb, visiting England in June and Taiwan again in September, Its so nice to travel and get away from the daily grind and see life, life around you and your own life from a different angle.

Taiwan has always been one of the ultimate places for me, the food, the life, my family, my friends they are all there. September in Taiwan was for Lucys wedding which was fantastic but man one week was so busy filled with family and friends...its the first time we as a family have all been there together in like 20 years!

England in June was nice and relaxed, the weather was good, my friends and family were all there and my sister got married! PERFECT. I am so proud of her and what she has achieved in her life...my soul mate and best friend.

Roland and Kryssy getting married was so cool...so great seeing my friends tying the knot and settling down! I am so sorry I couldnt have been there but I was represented via video...NICE!!!!!

Japan...ah japan japan japan...ongoing saga of my life. So much to do here, so much around me yet so little time to do it. Days pass like a flash but they are filled with everything I need and the culture and people match me an my way of thinking although at times I do stop and have to head butt the wall due to frustration.

My company going bust was a HUGE ass turning point for me in every aspect of my life. What an I doing, how do I continue, who are my REAL friends, how strong are bonds of friendship and family....I have been blessed, they all remained strong and in place. I LOVE U ALL!!!!!!

I have discovered so much more about the environment, the people and the place I currently reside in this year, There is so much history here, the people are fantastic in terms of culture and local knowledge and the feeling is a cosy and friendly one. Feelings amongst the ex-pats and the japanese is so warm and there is a tight knit circle here looking out for each other.

Well enough blabbing heres to 2008, more fun, more living, more love, more laughter and good times. Good luck to you all and take care in the upcoming year!
