Stan in Japan...
So Stan my Liew brother came to visit...I was well excited as was he and obivously as was Michiyo. It just so happened that the days he was stopping over coincided with my days off, it was meant to be!
Upon arrival Big Stan had to make his own way to a kinda uncertain meeting place at 7.00pm as I would still be at work. Luckily we met up ok and ended up meeting Michiyo at another place where we were due to meet some of Stans former Japanese class mates from Sih Dah at Yokohama bay. They were cool people, their names were Mai and Masa. Mai admitted that she had seen me before at Sih Dah..."you were the one wearing the hat and baggy jeans right!?" (Fenom baggy jeans thank you darling (!) - oh dear!) So after an amazing dinner in the hotel with the incredible view over Yokohama bay we took some funny pictures outside, Stan and I were cracking up as stupid joke after stupid joke came outta our mouths...a bad sign of things to come! hahahaha...
So after an eventful first night the second day did not slow down...after an early rise (8-9 am - early for me on a day off!) we headed off to Tokyo and Yasakune Shrine and Meji Shrine and Yoyogi Park. At Yoyogi park Stan spotted the "Freaks" or as I see them the "enlightened ones" ... hahaha...these kids in costume have to be seen to be believed. Me describing a 13 year old kid wearing a full black suit, white blood stained shirt, a teddy bear around his neck and pulling a leopard skin mini suitcase cannot be believed until seen with ones own eyes!
The second day consisted of The Imperial Palace and Kamakura...dang it was hot again!
After dropping Stan off at Yokohama Station early in the morning it dawned on me on the way to work that the days ahead would be quiet and lonesome again...
Well big guy I miss you already, make sure that you dont watch too much Dwarf porn (long story...medical students eh!?) and work hard and make the LIEW family proud! We will see each other again soon...its fate...
