Goodbye party...

So the time came to say goodbye...its been an emotional one my friends, my blanket of security has been removed and its time to face this thing alone.

The meeting spot were the Odakyu gates and I met Kayo and Julz or Poolian on the train. I was of course wearing my hello Kitty x milo Tee to piss off Julz...hahaha...he secretly loves it I reckon! Upon reaching the Odakyu gates David no1 was there looking cool as usual. Dickie and Cara turned up and after random bantering, mostly Julz throwing abuse at Cara (haha!) we headed to La Pausa first. Yukiko organised this all in thing which was great...so much food it was nutty. So much pasta, pizza and salad. I managed to get around and talk to everyone which was nice. I had quite a talk with our lovely former BMG Rie...still nutty and very proud of herself as she has lost 7 kilos! hahaha...Of course I was on my camera for half of the evening...when will I stop taking random pointless photos!? Two special photos sessions were dubbed "show me sexy" which had VERY mixed results and "show me geek" which has THE best picture of Julz ever! and the most important question was...what was davids drink for the night? KALUA MILK!

Everyone (well nearly everyone!) made it in the end. The group was me, Julz, Dickie, David no1, Cara, Mayumi, Rie (yay!), Yukiko, Ryoko, Lisa and Danielle and Kayo (PK). Missing were Yasu, Matt, Yoshimi, Risa, Keith and Ben...WHERE WERE YOU!!??

After I dunno how many drinks I made my drunken speech of love...ahhh love...glasses were raised and I was kinda sad at that point that there were people missing...ahhh well no one can have EVERYTHING right? Hope you all had a good evening!

Thanks for the great time mateys...I hope we can all get together again soon!

"Show me geek..."

The no1 geek...Julz the fulz...

This is not geekish...just plain cool!

Now this is geekish!

Pretty geekish!

The boss man himself...

awww...she can never be geekish!

The preffered drink of David's night...

Julz ordering the food...go go go! Davids hungry!

Cant't remember what this was called but it was well yummy! hmmm...

The roulette game...crazy stuff!

Julz with his free drink...awww doesnt he look happy!

Julz was highly entertaining that night! hahaha...

Izakaya...

So after work I headed with Julz to our local Izakaya, upon reaching the place they were screaming out "half price beers!"...great stuff and it was Tuesday night I guess. Entering the place you could tell why, it was completely empty!

After sitting in our seats Julz told me that this was the exact place and the exact seats that him and Kayo were sitting at on their second date...awwww...ahahaha...

So after eating some food and drinking that cheap cheap half priced beer or in my case Kalua Milk, the staff came round with this little roulette game...it confused me for a second but after getting the hang of it I won a free dish from the menu and Julz got a free drink! BARGAIN!

After three or four more chocolate kalua milks which are great we headed home...thanks for the good night Julz!

Julz...MR POLITE...my my what a rude hat...well we gotta entertain ourselves whilst waiting for Kayo right!?

Hurry up and order already! David is like well hungry!

Kayo picking the delights...Julz just waiting to eat the grub...

Sashimi...hmmm I am hungry again!

Horse sashimi...hmmm...
Julz and Kayo...always time to swear at KTV!

David nice and drunk at KTV!

Drinks and KTV!

So after the CAT defeat I called up Julz and met him and Kayo for a spot of dinner and drinks. The local Izakaya was hit up and Kayo and I were hungry while Julz merely tutted at us...hahaha...WE ARE HUNGRY!!! After lots of good seafood and even some horse sahimi Kayo and I barraged Julz to go to KTV.

He finally gave in muttering "I am not singing..." once in Big Echo though the man was on fire! i believe the highlight was his version of 2unlimited's "No limit"...hahaha...after many a song and me cutting fifty songs in a row I jumped on the last train and headed home a slightly tipsy but happy man.

Thanks for the good time my lovelies and lets do it again soon!

David...2007...still tired...still obsessed with urahara...still a nerd...still me! haha!

Sugoi ne!

Hello people, so yeah its been like well long since I last posted. Time flies when you are...working hard! hahahaha...every day seems pretty long and so much seems to happen all around me.

So many things have changed, people, my environment, my friends lives...its kinda alot for me to take in. So many choices ahead, so much passion is going to be needed...I am ready for the challenge though.

I did something the other day that I have never done before, I prayed to uncle and to grandma for strength...I have never been a very spiritual guy at all cept for my family and friends, I always pray for them and their happiness and well being. But for me...I never ask for much but I needed strength the other day...I think they answered my need...Thank you both...

I guess after being here in Japan for a very short time I came up with three goals. What are these three goals and have I achieved them I hear you say!!??

The first goal well...things change I guess, that goal passed me by...my second is about to be achieved I think...and the third...hahaha...hss not been achieved due to my laziness...Jikan tatsu no ga hai yayi desu nai! Ah...so much for goals!

Back to reality...well spring is very much here, the Cherry blossoms have come and gone, so beautiful...one of my students described it like love, it blooms so beautifully but passes so quickly. Another described it as being linked to the age of the samurai...

I went to see the Cherry blossoms in two places, one was Shonan Tower (dont ask!) which was an interesting mix...beautiful cherry blossoms next to this dirty ugly tower which had been COMPLETELY grafittied by lovers. The next place was Odawara castle...built by the Samurais apparently, very beautiful and romantic at night.

Truly amazing stuff...I guess you dont really appreciate something until its gone...
