MJ meets smap...man...his face is really weird...

I can`t believe it...its Michael Jackson!! He really is as scary as he looks on tv!!

MJ looking pretty amused...I would have been amused if five guys dressed in super tight tops started ohhing and ahhing at me in a foreign language...then suddenly stop and say random things like " I love you" in english.

Go on...give him a kiss...a quick smooch...go on!

Smap reminice their `special` time with MJ...well done guys...you just sang completely out of tune infront of the King of Pop.

Stupid, random Japanese advertisements with famous stars in...

So we have all heard of these right!? Bill Murray`s Bob in Lost in Translation, Joey from Friends random Japanese advert...well I have seen two such adverts in Japan recently. The first is Kiefer Sutherland`s Jack Bauer character for Calorie Mate (oh dear this is bound to destroy the 24 franchise) and Tommy Lee Jones looking absolutley bewildered in the Suntory BOSS coffee adverts, hes probably dazed by the amount of money that has been thrown at him for marketing a coffee...

Check it out...

Golden week...

Well that wonderful time has come and gone...luckily the golden week days fell on my days off so I was able to relax for a while. Golden week basically is about 5 days off in a row for all people (except for shop/retail workers...don`t forget the Japanese are the biggest consumers in the world!!) so everyone goes nuts and go on super expensive holidays and lots of shopping. Who says a Government, economy and tourist industry can`t work together in earning serious big bucks!!??

The weather as stated by Mr Paul of Kirin City fame is always nice, as in weather wise. So people are always out enforce no matter where you go.

Anyways Michiyo and I after a quick lunch at Kirin City headed to Kamakura which turned out to be a huge mistake as half the foreigners in japan along with half of the Japanese population seemed to be there, hahahaha...still we had a good time, we went around a temple, ate lots of the local delicacies...then rolled home a bit hot and tired but a happy chappie!
