Well I really do take too many photos everywhere I go and the number of random ones in my collection is growing at a rapid rate. If you add on the fact that I have wayyyy too much time on my hands to constantly surf many of my friends blogs looking at photos of them in all types of places and situations (sounds dodgy but is not as bad as it sounds!)

Post Birthday...

Well Browns in Bristol it was to be then, I was picked up on the chilly evening by Edd and Roland...ahh chilly! The random talk in the car started almost immediatly as we almost went to warp drive in edd's cool mini...I love that car...I have named her Gill.

The final brithday attendance crew consisted of; Me (didn't want to attend but felt I had to), Edd, Roland, Emily, Kathy, Felix and Sarah...everyone who did not come have now been blown off the 'family' tree by my new Olivander's wand...oh yes baby!

Once inside Browns I had a nice pie with chips no burger this time however Roland kept it real and stuck to the burger...ahh what a man! After finishing every tried everyone elses deserts and at this point Roland and I 'retired' ourselves to the bar so that we could share a birthday cigar together...ahhhhhh minty!

Soon everyone joined us and lots of random talk and events happened...Sarah and Emily throwing sugar at each other, Edd balancing bottles on his forehead, Roland taking photos with a window pane...usual stuff!

Pre-birthday thoughts...

Wow...so I've finally hit the big 24...six more years til 30...never did I think I would make it this far.

Looking back what have I achieved this year??...uhmmm...zip, hahahaha...I guess I have experienced alot this past year since my last birthday, I feel I have dare I say it, grown up...I have travelled to places and seen them again or for the first time through 'maturer' eyes and I have felt and touched things within my heart and mind I didn't think possible.

Its strange...I'm pretty speechless at the moment...honestly I just feel numb. What is age nowadays, nothing really. Time is just a man made term anyway for measuring things...I refuse to live by man made rules! Down with society...down with everything!!!! WOW suddenly feeling anarchic (uhmm...is that a word!?) hahahaha...

The most important thing I have learnt this year is I gotta live for now...no regrets...everyone lives by and through their own beliefs, everyone chooses their own paths in the end...I just hope...no, I know I will have lived my life the way that I have wanted to have lived it when I look back (in the man defined) 50 years time.

For now I wish myself and any other soul whose birthday (or berfday as its pronounced in the west country) it is today, all have another great year and find happiness...
