"The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering" - the legend that was Bruce Lee...
Well people? its over. An era has passed and lets just say tears formed behined my eyes but I did not cry. My final week in Taipei passed so quickly? Frightening is how I would put it.
I would like to point out at this point that the first picture of this beautiful, lovely, healthy girl is Linda (Fan-ling) who provided me with some of the pictures you are seeing. Danke Schon!!
Our final KTV session happened on the Tuesday. I was rather excited in the morning however there was silence from Anthony who was supposed to arrive back that morning so that we could watch a potentially hilarious random French film together, i.e. some male time. I finally got a message from him saying that he was delayed due to bad weather and was in Hong Kong. Come on bruv BAD FORM!!! Hahahaha. Well I ended up meeting Mr Muscle Alby and darling cutie Michiyo for lunch at the Swings Xi-Men Ding. It was cool there hanging out as we had not been there in quite a while. At 2.00pm we headed to meet Linda and Anthony at the mrt. well I ended up running and hugging Anthony in an emotional embrace, hahahaha!! On the way to the mrt station I had a random debate with Albert about how to hold a girls hand, turns out the Big C has a very particular way in which a couple must hold hands. Hmmmm... Well me and Albert must have got some dodgy looks going down the street whilst holding hands. Then again its Xi men where people dress goth like and have strange funky hair dos.
From the MRT we went where else but Go Karting! Michiyo decided not to go so in the end it was Albert, Me, Ant, Linda and Kaori. At this point I would like to mention that Linda really sucked even though she comes from the land of Michael Schumacher! Hahaha. The first couple of laps involved Linda crashing into this squiggly bit in the track and sometimes me or kaori crashing into her cause she is in the way. Most of the time it was me screaming "move your bloody car?" or shaking a victory fist at her! Hahahaha. Well it was the usual random time there, in fact I think I kicked everyones arse, YES all those expensive driving lessons have finally come to some use.
After sitting around feeling tired and having a smoke we picked up Michael, Judy, the ever lovely Carissa, and Annie and Craig (Ant's uncle and his friend and Alby's chick, Linda's German friend and Craig...everyone knows who Craig is!!) and we headed to KTV. Alas they were over booked till 3.40 so we, well Linda decided she wanted Tswah Bing so we all headed there. I have to admit the stuff is pretty good in that place and certainly Carissa seemed most impressed by Linda's knowledge of Xi Men Tswah Bing!!
3.40pm rapidly hit us so off to Holiday KTV we went. As soon as we reached there Ant and I dived into the English songs and straight away Ant's special song The Calling came up. Ahhhhhh what a song! At this point our room was pretty empty for as I remember everyone had legged it for the buffet. In the end of tables were never short of chips and cake thanks to Annie and Linda who really stuffed themselves!hahahaha!
"Yo Linda and Annie how many cakes did you have!!!????"
Songs were sang and Michiyo decided to give many a people a massage whilst singing. I howled through most songs in the background and actually Ant sulked for a while as they did not have David Taos song. Dont worry bruv next time, next time!!! Michael turned out to be quite a rock god by pulling out some random songs, Judy was as Celine Dion as she said she was... suddenly who turns up in the middle of my personal rendition of the Yuki and Jun song but Mr Cool himself Victor aka Bruce aka Ching(!?). Most random. I remember singing...well howling a couple of tracks e.g. 5566's quite sad and shockingly bad version of Queen's "We will rock you". I was having a great time and even got some support from Bruce...however everyone else thought I was bonkers. Ahhhh well...
My final day in Taipei, Wednesday, was quite a stressy affair. I spent the afternoon with my darling wandering around the East side of Taipei, unfortunately G-Store was again closed?damn you! However we did get to go to Sofa finally which is a cool lounge/café with many an interesting, you guessed it Sofa! I believe Ant was most impressed with the place when we stumbled back there a little later on. From there I went home and Miss darling went to see Albert. Then the craziness began, I couldnt get into my house for a while and that meant times for the evening went spiralling out of control. I finally got to see people at around 10.35pm when I headed to MOD?.ahhh that place. I rapidly downed a baileys milk and woo woo I think it was. Both straight to my head! Flora was there along with Michiyo and Anthony. Albert, Craig and Carissa popped by later and lets just say when they left it got a tad bit emotional between the two of us...don't forget Albert... "bruvs for life!"
The rest of the time in MOD was spent spouting romantic quotes and random lines at Michiyo, Ant and Flora. SORRY!!! Hahahaha. Soon Flora left (I miss you darling!) and so it was time for us to make a move too.
Jennifer too was leaving soon for her own country so we headed to Luxy (popular club in Taipei) to meet up with her, Linda and Kaori. The line was big when we got there and the lovely ladies told us that it was seriously packed inside. I did not care either way by this point as I was well out of it and singing the David Tao song to Anthony. After a quick debate about where to go we headed to Sofa again. It was nice sitting in their outside pation with Michiyo and Anthony having a Smirnoff at 1.00pm. We were slowly all passing out and the My Ass joke was waring a little thin even for me so we left and headed to the comfort of our own beds.
I wont bore you with the details of how I got home to my own country! lets just say seriously stressful affair and one that hopefully will be forgotten!!!
An era has really passed me by?my time in Taipei almost seems like a dream. Who knew I would find such good friends, a person who I care about and more importantly find myself.

Anthony Bruv....we miss you! The L bar is just not the same!
Well people, I am going home next Thursday....man well scary. This last week since break up from school has been strange, I feel I am just mentally preparing myself to go home and at the same time unsure about how to go about doing it. Thus I have filled up my whole week and a bit with everything, leaving only the mornings for sleep cause i need my beauty sleep!
The last day at school got emotional, I gave a speech (well it was sorta the last day, as Anthony left that day) and played a song by Fish which really reminds me of Taiwan. Things really started going wierd when Anthonette properly left ....bruv.....hmmmm.... what am I gonna do without my girl, anthony and alby eh!?~ Bruv the last steak at sih ling will forever be in my mind!
It will be good to go home though, see the parentals, my sister and brother and friends...if i have any left! hahahahaha.
Well I went to the MOCA Taipei the other day and low and behold there was a Bing Lang truck with dancing girl inside parked right outside the museum! PERFECT! For all you people who dont know what the fudge i am talking about Bing Lang are beetle nuts (chewing tabacco) which is sold by half naked HOT HOT girls in stalls down south of Taiwan. This particular stall outside MOCA was promoting and selling the new beetlenut tea. The woman offered me some but lets say i refused....DAMN IT why did i not buy any!? FOOL!
...and oh yes! Happy new year!!! I hope everyone had a great one, I did! I went to my Uncle's for some nice nosh then went onto KTV! Taipei really is quite strange at New Years... the city is really empty, everyone legs it back down south I guess.
Well well...i hope i have time to add another entry before I leave for hills to my home far far away, if not then thank you to all if ANY people who came and spent your valuable if not wasted time reading my boring boring life in taipei...hahahhaha
This part of my life is ending, another is beginning...I will be back soon, until then farewell and take care of each other.
SPREAD THAT LOVE PEOPLE!!! Peace, I gotta go hang with the bapes for a while...
NOTE: I do apologise CaRissa for the misspeling of your name, although i do spell many a word incorrectly on this blog so please forgive the dunbness!
FLORA: Yes it would be great to see you befire I leave and yes i have to leave unfortunatley. I was going to give you a call the other day then realised that i have misplaced your number! damn it! so please please give me a call or text! My email is down too.....oh how this life mocks me!
